A young man stood in the back part of the room. It was a crowded room, about 30 people altogether with five sitting on the front stage. The man was 6ft tall; muscular slim build with dark blond hair. He wore a suit; a causal blue and tan suit with a white shirt. All his fellow peers dressed the same, no variation. It was a graduation from the academy; a law enforcement ceremony under the jurisdiction of the Security Council of the Atlantic Front. They were in a mid-size oval building; red brick right outside of the old Washington D.C. Area. The place was surrounded by metal fences and one story red buildings. They were in the biggest military base in the northeast province of the Northern Atlantic Front, the birthplace of the formation of the Security Council of the Atlantic Front. All young cadets stood in the back as the young, 6ft man walked at the stage area standing near a microphone. He spoke into it—
“Good afternoon, my name is William Johnson and welcome to the graduating class of 2019,” spoke the young man. “I would like to thank all the commanders of the paramilitary Elite Brand X for showing their support to our proudest moment of being a non-factor. The super nation was form for defense and honor of the innocent civilians. When we walk across this stage however we will be a factor, a real deal so to speak. It will be a welcoming time, a moment of testing to the initiative.”
As he spoke a young man, handcuffed entered into the room. He was in his early 20’s, with Indo-European features. He was brought in by two guards who then forced him on both of his knees. William Johnson strolled towards him, “Good sir, I want to ask you a question.”
The frighten man brown eyes grew larger as sweat poured down across his face as he stammered, “\W-why, a-am I here??”
William Johnson pulled out a Glock 23 blunt pistol, “What season is this?”
The man, so afraid took a deep breath while pissing on himself–he answered weakly, “It is–Spring.”
“Thank you good sir,” replied William as he shot the man point-blank in his forehead as half of his brains flew across the room. Most of the targeted body parts landed on the crowd who did not even flinch or act surprised. “Yes, we are now the initiative.”

WHOA! What an excerpt! Everyone needs to jump onboard the world of “Shadow Within A City”, which is a great book by the way. But the story extends so far beyond the book.
