It was undoubtedly an above-average day in nature, which was incredible for us regular onlookers. I hiked this park on July 4th of this year as farmlands, a few trails, and an old manor near the Patuxent River inhabited it. Not too much of an exciting history, the Greenwell family donated the 167-acre land to the state of Maryland. This massive donation happened in 1971, three years before I was born.
I think I will allow the pictures and videos to tell the story of Greenwell State Park, located in historic St. Mary’s County, Maryland.
Some of these videos reminded me of when I would look out at the St. Mary’s River back during my college days.

It’s near there. St. Mary’s County in general has some great hiking spots.
I read months ago an island was for sale at a reasonable, comparable price.
