Avenging Knights—-“The Conflict of Demon in Zero Hour.”

From recent previous poets I’d been showcasing my first publish book called “Avenging Knights Rebirth of Lost Honor.” The current edition out now is a 2nd edition with better writing and a correction of a few mistakes the original had in it–mainly typos. I displayed profiles of certain characters along with a brief passage. Today is a shorter passage but the scene that it is referencing from is one of the most intense scene of the book. A major battle between Doomonster and Mela “The Sorceress.” It was a dark one, a view from the bottom of the planet—dubbed “The Conflict of Demon in Zero Hour.”

Sharpstar forgetting about his other companion glanced upwards to see Mela trapped by the Imp King. He knew there was nothing to could do from their position so he held his sword downwards and spoke quietly to himself, “Now it’s your fight, my friend.”

Mela viewed the victory of her friends and gloried in it for a moment as curses spat from her oppressor’s mouth, “Damn you all, my verdict is still—-death!”

In stunning brilliance the sorceress faded for a brief moment and appeared directly in front of the Imp King. The vile demon was astounded but his poised demeanor never faltered.

“This is your end my sweet, you should have joined me,” snapped Doomonster the Imp King, displaying a corrupt smile.

“Never, you wretched scum,” uttered Mela. “As long as there are vile oppressors like you afoot, I will do what I must.”

“Do what you must,” barked an annoyed Doomonster? “What does that even mean?!”

Mela glanced away as a slight glimmer in her eye displayed her true intent. She seemed to be enjoying this moment.

“Annihilate—with modest restraint.”
Doomonster abruptly kicked her and few higher into the air as he hurled many fireballs below. Mela evaded the attack and watched the fireballs colliding with the remaining fortress of the Imp King, destroying it completely. Sharpstar and the others on the ground below were sent back many feet as the explosion lit up the bloody skies. The droplets of rain ceased, but the battle was not yet over.

Mela flew directly overhead until she was face to face with the Imp King as both held their swords downwards in defiance.

“You have NO EMOTIONS, no patience, no passion for anyone,” hissed Doomonster.

Mela replied nothing.
